My parents had a family dairy farm in South Central PA, with all John Deere tractors.I was always passionate and excited to work in the shop and drive the tractors. My very first tractor was a John Deere B. I did a complete overhaul and repaired it to use it on the farm when I was 14 years old. That was just the beginning; I always found another model I wanted, bought it and fixed it up, and used it on the farm. In 1995, I started a job at Martin Tractor Parts owned by my father-in-law. In 1999, we moved to a farm and had a tractor repair shop on the farm. After nine years on the farm and in the shop, I realized that working in the shop and on tractors was my main interest. I decided to return to Martin Tractor Parts to work until my father-in-law was ready to retire. In 2012, we started Green Spring Tractor right next door to Martin Tractor Parts by purchasing the John Deere parts inventory and tractors from my father-in-law. In doing so, this gave us the inventory that went back for over 40 years, and we have been adding salvage tractors and new parts ever since. We now sell new, used, and rebuilt parts for John Deere farm tractors, compact tractors, and Gators.
