Let's make the ideal affordable Nokia smartphone out of Nokia 4.2, 3.2 and 2.2 | Nokiamob

Nokia 4.2 and 3.2 are great affordable smartphones from Nokia Mobile. On first sight, those two might seem different, but when you check their specs, the phones are quite similar. The biggest difference between them, besides the processor, is the size of the screen, a bit more advanced camera system, and battery size. After the announcement of those phones, we saw that HMD went through a crisis that ended by CMO resigning, and the General Manager for Global Portfolio & Product Planning admitting that too many phones have been causing confusion among the buyers. Anyway, not long after the Nokia 3.2 and 4.2, Nokia 2.2 came which again brought too many similarities to the previously announced affordable smartphones. I kind of didn’t expect this one to be released, especially because it is going to be a new phone that needs to be updated and taken care off. Maybe Nokia Mobile could have skipped these phones and that got us thinking of the best low-end Nokia smartphone that would be a combination of the affordable trio.

Stipe and I both agreed that we would take the processor from Nokia 4.2, add a bit more RAM (4 GB), leave it at 32 GB of internal memory and definitely take its camera setup. From the Nokia 3.2, we’d take the big 4000 mAh battery and from Nokia 2.2 we would borrow the possibility to exchange the back covers. It would be ideal if everything could be squeezed under the 5.71 HD+ screen protected by 2.5D glass. The price would have to be set at €150, which is quite good. HMD could try selling the device bundled with some basic Nokia Stereo earphones and Xpress-on covers for extra 20 or 30 euros. Selling accessories as a bundle with the phone, proved to be a success many times. OEM Lcd Touch

So, let’s recap our ideal low-end Nokia smartphone that would be selling like a champagne in a night club on the coast of the Adriatic.

Let’s first see what would be the name of this ideal affordable smartphone. To do that we need to take into consideration the next formula that goes like this : (2.2+3.2+4.2)/3=3.2. You see that the best name would be Nokia 3.2.

What do you think guys? I’m interested in hearing your best combo.

If you want to compare those three phones, do it on Nokia.com or GSMArena :).
